Charisma entered the African market

Charisma ERP, the Romanian no. 1 integrated computer system, entered the African market, and is due to be implemented at Carrefour Automobile Dakar. The contract with the Senegalese company, which is a BMW and Land Rover dealer was signed last week and requires the implementation of the leasing solution in the next four months.

Carrefour Automobile recently took over the LocAfrique credit company and became one of the leading players on the leasing market in Senegal, with expansion plans in seven countries in the region.

TotalSoft will provide a complete solution, composed of a series of modules designed not only for the management of the leasing activity, but also for business modeling which is necessary for its expansion both at local and international levels. Thus, through web leasing, dealer financing, business intelligence and alerting modules, Carrefour Automobile will strengthen its market position, having access to cutting-edge technologies that will enable a direct integration, via web services, with suppliers in all Europe.

Another component of the solution will be interfacing Charisma with the application of the West African Central Bank, and adapting the reporting system to the regional applicable laws. Once completed, this stage of the contract, together with the application’s availability in French, Charisma can be easily adopted by other players on the market.

The contract with Carrefour Automobile proves Charisma’s entrance on a new market and new economic and cultural environment, marking the 11th localization of the solution in only 6 years since its first international deployment.

TotalSoft was listed in the top 10 worldwide software solutions suppliers for the leasing industry by the “Software systems for the leasing industry” study.
