CMMI Week in Kiev Organized by ESI/USAID in Partnership with IT Ukraine

CMMI WEEK, dedicated to quality and competitiveness, which ESI Center Eastern Europe organizes in Ukraine, 27 – 31 October 2008, is supported by USAID/RCI and in partnership with IT Ukraine.

CMMI WEEK IS THE FIRST EVENT OF THE LONG TERM PROGRAM  “ICT COMPETITIVENESS PYRAMID”, with the support of USAID/RCI (Regional Competitiveness Initiative).

Companies, participating the CMMI week, will be eligible for further support in Process improvement initiation (through ITMark implementation and certification) and maturity assessment (CMMI and ITMark Premium appraisals). The anticipated co-funding and support is in the range of 30-50%.

The week highlights are:

“Software Process Improvement – Roadmap to Maturity / CMMI for Senior Managers”

1-day free workshop (4-6 hours plus Q&A session):

Kiev     29 October (Wednesday) 12:00-18:00 h

“Introduction to CMMI”:  3-days official SEI-Authorized course with additional 1-day seminar “Topics on practical implementation of CMMI”

The official SEI course, based on CMMI v 1.2 model. Required for companies targeting SCAMPI A appraisal, recommended for development and quality managers, project and team managers, senior management, CTO, CIO, CSOs, IT Services managers, professors in software engineering disciplines. Good basis also for implementing of ISO 9001, SPICE, ITIL and other quality models.

Kiev     27-29 October 2008 (and practical seminar on 30th October)

Fee: 500 USD (including Royalty to SEI and official course materials)
