Columbus IT Most Awarded Microsoft Dynamics Partner in the World Top Global Microsoft Dynamics partner Columbus IT dominates partner awards at 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans.

As Microsoft executives announced winners and finalists at the 2009 Partner Awards ceremony, as well as President’s Club and Inner Circle honorees, Columbus IT dominated the proceedings taking home a grand total of 18 honors, more than any other partner organization worldwide.

Over 2,000 partners competed in the 12 award categories, with CIT winning Retail Partner of the Year and being named one of only two finalists for Manufacturing Partner of the Year and Distribution Partner of the Year. Additionally, Columbus IT was represented in four regional partner of the year awards: as a finalist for Partner of the Year Central and Eastern Europe – CIT Lithuania; Partner of the Year Latin American – CIT Brazil; ISV of the Year Latin America – CIT Brazil; and winner of Partner of the Year Middle East and Africa – CIT Middle East.

Topping off Columbus IT’s awards assortment was To-Increase’s recognition as Outstanding Global ISV of the Year. To-Increase, the software development branch of Columbus IT, has its flagship products – Retail Chain Manager (RCM) and Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (IEM) – listed on the Microsoft Dynamics AX price list.

“Columbus IT is being recognized for their fine work and stellar partnership with Microsoft Dynamics, including To-Increase being awarded Outstanding ISV of the Year,” said Doug Kennedy, Vice President, Dynamics partners. “We are thrilled with the level of global commitment they provide to our shared Microsoft Dynamics customers through vertically focused solutions and congratulate them on their results.”

Reflecting their commitment to providing industry-specific solutions to the market, Microsoft for the first time this year recognized companies based on their industry expertise in the vertical solutions they provide. Of the six industry sectors, Columbus IT won top honors in three – all of the areas where Columbus IT has a strong focus. Winners were also honored at a luncheon hosted by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

“We are really pleased to receive these recognitions from Microsoft,” commented Claus Hansen, Columbus IT CEO. “Over the past couple of years we have made great strides in becoming a highly focused organization across the industries where we have world class solutions. We see this as critical for success going forward. Discerning customers are demanding that solutions meet their specific business challenges, yet take less time and expense to implement. We have been able to bring this value to our customers through our retail, manufacturing and distribution solutions that combine our own award-winning IP and the best platform in the industry – Microsoft Dynamics.”

Adding to the eight awards mentioned above, six Columbus IT offices received President’s Club honors, recognizing their inclusion in the top 5% of all Dynamics partners. Because of their commitment to customers, reflected in their business performance and high level of sales achievement, Columbus IT offices in the U.S., Middle East, Italy, Brazil, Chile and Switzerland received this honor. Two additional Columbus IT President’s Club honorees include To-Increase and VerticalSoft, a Columbus IT software development house for its food and chemical solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

For Microsoft’s highest partner recognition, the coveted Inner Circle, both Columbus IT and To-Increase were named to this elite group of companies that perform at the top echelon of the Microsoft Dynamics global network of value-added reselling partners. To-Increase is one of only three ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) included in this highly selective group.
