Columbus IT Enters Partnership with Swedish Tacticus

Columbus IT is extending its international reach by entering a partnership agreement with one of Sweden’s leading Microsoft partners, Tacticus. Microsoft supports the alliance and is very pleased with the increased local presence.

Today, Columbus IT unveils a binding strategic agreement with Swedish Microsoft partner Tacticus. Tacticus is one of Sweden’s leading Microsoft Dynamics partners, and will be Columbus ITs representative in the growing Swedish market.

”The agreement with Tacticus fills in an important part of our world map. The experience and size of Tacticus fits perfectly with Columbus IT, so it feels natural to enter a binding agreement, making Tacticus our representative in Sweden, while we become Tacticus’ international partner. We already cooperate with Tacticus on joint clients, so we know that their knowledge and expertise is of the high standard, we expect of our partners,” says CEO Claus E. Hansen, Columbus IT.

Tacticus is headquartered in Malmo with a branch office in Goteborg. Another branch office in Stockholm is being planned. The company already services many large customers – especially in the distribution, production and retail sectors – and has extensive experience from massive global roll-outs of Microsoft projects.

Internationale Companies Want International Suppliers

”In 2009 we started working with Columbus IT on several large projects. This cooperation has given us access to an international supplier for our international customers, while giving Columbus IT new options in the Swedish market. The formal partnership agreement is yet another indicator of our role as one of the strongest suppliers of Microsoft Dynamics solutions in the Swedish market,” says VD Stefan Fleron, Tacticus.

Columbus IT supplies industry-specific business solutions to companies across the globe, and ensures quality assured and consistent implementation, no matter if it is in Marmaris or Malmo. Right now Columbus IT is experiencing a growing demand for industry specific standard solutions, especially in retail, food production, and distribution, as well as in project oriented production.

”Our customers demand that the companies they meet locally are just as competent, solid and large as our own well-run units – and we push that demand on to our new partners and allies. Tacticus is a perfect example of that type of company,” says CEO Claus E. Hansen, Columbus IT.

Enthusiastic Microsoft

Tacticus and Columbus IT will mainly be cooperating on international roll-outs of Microsoft Dynamics projects, and Microsoft is very pleased with the new Nordic partnership:

”The Microsoft Dynamics products have won significant market shares during the last few years, because the products can ensure companies global solutions with short implementation periods. But our products are never better than the people who supply them, so the partnership between Columbus IT and Tacticus is not only good news for the two companies and their customers, but also for Microsoft. We are very excited to welcome our new international partner,” says Thomas Laine, Dynamics Partner Lead, Microsoft Sverige.

Columbus IT expects to enter into similar partnerships and alliances with partners world-wide in the future.
