Comarch delivers a compelling presentation at Carriers World 2008

Comarch, a leading global telecommunications solutions provider, led a presentation on “Following Market Changes and Regulations”, during the Carriers World Conference in London, United Kingdom on September 24th.

On the 2nd day of the event, Comarch BSS Consulting Manager, Tymoteusz Wrona, presented an interesting case study on market changes and regulations. The focus points of his lecture were interconnection, revenue sharing and partner-to-partner billing – the areas in which the vendors can find changes in approaches to the way agreements are constructed. This includes transforming the business supporting software.
The presentation highlighted two important decisions that Telco operators must make today: Virtual POI for Mobile Virtual Network Operators in the context of reporting features for SP/MVNO agreements, and Partner Management that allows management of the rapidly increasing number of data, agreements and SLAs.

- To follow the changes that occur within the telecoms industry, one must be prepared prior to their occurrence. This simple rule affects companies in many areas and it requires time and effort to be ready before, not during the change. Thus from the perspective of a telecommunications software vendor, it is crucial for the operators to invest wisely in their own portfolio of solutions – quotes Tymoteusz Wrona, BSS Consulting Manager at Comarch SA.

The 14th edition of the Carriers World conference provided the premier networking arena for companies offering a broad range of innovative telecommunications products and services to licensed international carriers, ISP’s and other telecommunications companies.
