Contracts from the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture

Asseco Poland SA continues to cooperate with the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMA). In December, the parties concluded new agreements with the total value exceeding PLN 60 million (net of VAT).

On 28 December, ARMA awarded Asseco Poland SA a contract worth PLN 21.2 million net. The contract subject is maintenance, modification and development of OFSA, OFSA-PROW, OFSA-PROW-DD and RG-PROW information systems and it shall be completed till the end of 2011.

Furthermore, Asseco Poland SA provides to ARMA miscellaneous IT services as a subcontractor to HP. They include basically ongoing administration, monitoring and support of operation of their core IT system. As part of this cooperation Asseco Poland SA expects to gain a subcontractor agreement worth PLN 38 million net.

In December, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture signed an agreement also with Asseco Systems which is to supply servers, blade infrastructures and IT racks and provide maintenance services over 36 months. This contract worth PLN 7.4 million gross will be also implemented by Asseco Poland SA after it takes over Asseco Systems in January 2011.

Asseco Poland SA has cooperated with ARMA for over a dozen years. Acting independently or as a subcontractor to HP, the Company executed a number of projects for the delivery of IT systems for management of agricultural subsidies.

ARMA utilizes a number of proprietary systems developed by Asseco Poland SA: OFSA system to handle the structural funds for agriculture; OFSA-PROW system to support activities under the Rural Development Programme for the years 2007-2013; the Register of Farms to gather and update data as well as many other solutions.

Whereas, having been subcontracted by Oracle, Asseco Poland SA implemented for ARMA an integrated system for management of the Agency’s accounts, finance, procurements, and property, as well as for support of its functions within accounting and finance, HR and payroll, and debt collection.
