Customers and Partners Exchange Innovative Ideas at SoftServe’s Annual Innovations Conference

SoftServe Inc., a leading global provider of proven high quality software development, testing and consulting services, held their 2010 Innovations Conference on October 13th – 15th , 2010 at the Hyatt Regency at Coconut Point in Florida. SoftServe brought together customers, strategic partners, software specialists and industry thought leaders into an environment that encouraged the exchange of ideas, product knowledge and industry trends. It was a great success, according to customers attending the event, SoftServe recognized good growth from last year, demonstrating strong customer loyalty. “SoftServe’s Innovations Conference was extremely well attended this year. Our objective was very simple: to listen and inform our customers, to provide a forum where they could intermingle with our staff and each other, and to share our strategies and align with them.” said Mary Brandon, Vice President of Marketing, SoftServe.

A Focused Series of Presentations

SoftServe focused its presentations on three main areas, SaaS/Cloud solutions, Mobility solutions and Software Development Lifecycle services. There were a number of presenters including:

  • Jeff Kaplan, Founder and Managing Director of ThinkStrategies, author and industry expert in SaaS solutions
  • Mike Beedle, an entrepreneur that has applied Scrum and Agile to start and operate several companies. He is a co-author of the Agile Manifesto, the first Scrum book and the first published paper on Scrum.
  • Phil Wainwright, CEO of strategic consulting group Procullux Ventures, has been a thought leader in cloud computing as a blogger, analyst and consultant.
  • Karen McKay, Senior Vice President of Client Services at Doreen Evans Associates, who shared her knowledge on the strategy and industry best practice for gathering and managing software requirements.
  • Bill Rancic, entrepreneur that earned the title of Donald Trump’s original Apprentice on NBC’s hit program. He is the host of the A&E Channel’s hit program, We Mean Business, and reality show “Giuliana and Bill” and shared with us how to tap into our own entrepreneurial spirit.

SoftServe is already making plans for the next Innovations Conference 2011, which will be held in the fall of 2011 (to be announced).
