Endava in Chisinau Reaches 200 People and Business Expansion Continues

The Endava development centre in Chisinau reached 200 people at the beginnig of July. This is the result of the Endava strategy to expand its operations in Eastern Europe and the excellent work of our team in Moldova on projects for UK customers as well as local customers. Endava aims for further business growth in the region and we estimate that the Endava team in Chisinau will increase to over 260 people by June 2008.

We are proud to be the largest IT company in the Republic of Moldova. This enables us to attract the best IT professionals in Moldova and provide them with interesting and rewarding careers.

As an additional investment in the region, to improve access to qualified resources and contribute to the development of the area where we operate, Endava is sponsoring a “Software Engineering” course at the Technical University in Chisinau. We have also supported the National Olympics in Informatics in Moldova for more than 6 years.

Furthermore, a Collaboration Agreement has been established between Endava Moldova and the State University “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” from Cahul, signed on 20th of March 2007, under which both parties assumed responsibilities to put into operation a new Endava office in Cahul. The reason for this agreement is to improve the quality of IT curricula in the local university and also generate new career opportunities for the most talented graduates of the universities in the region. In August 2007 operational activity will start and in October 2007 the official opening of the office will be organised.
