Mobile operator Tele2 Estonia has introduced insurance for smartphones and tablets.

The operator claims that it is the first mobile operator offering such a service in Estonia.

The service, which was launched in cooperation with the insurance company If Kindlustus, includes insurance against damage and theft.

Monthly payments vary from EUR 1.99 to EUR 6.99 and are added to the monthly bill for services from the operator. Only devices containing Sims from Tele2 Estonia can be insured under the service.
