First Line Software Marks Banner Year by More Than Doubling Its Annual Revenue

First Line Software, a premiere provider of software development and technology enablement services, announced today that its revenue more than doubled from 2010 to 2011, with the company reporting turnover of more than $11 million last year after earning $4.7 million in 2010. And to build on that momentum as one of the IT sourcing industry’s emerging successes, First Line was also recently recognized as a Rising Star by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

First Line has seen exponential growth since the company was founded in December 2009 with 30 employees. In 2011, the company grew its ranks to 175, and as of early 2012, First Line’s employee count had grown to more than 300 worldwide. In addition to aggressive revenue and staff growth, First Line’s broad range of services, from innovative R&D and product engineering, to custom software development, to system integration and market entry, have helped earn the company a spot on the 2012 IAOP Global Outsourcing 100®.

First Line differentiates itself by going above and beyond the traditional scope of application development outsourcing to also assist its customers with client implementations, and co-marketing efforts, helping them to accommodate more business and gain access to new markets. By expanding its service offerings, First Line enables its technology clients to achieve faster and more sustainable growth in a hyper-competitive global marketplace.

“In addition to our strong technical skills and domain expertise, First Line’s continued growth is a result of our different approach to serving our clients’ broader needs by both leveraging our own strengths and complementing their internal capabilities,” said Peter Vaihansky, GM Americas, First Line Software. “We are thrilled to have made IAOP’s prestigious list in such a short period of time. We have several exciting projects being planned for the coming year that will exhibit our unique offerings, and showcase the level of value we bring to every engagement with our customers.”

In 2011, First Line also drastically expanded its web development practice that specializes in implementing complex backend content management environments for large, high-traffic online media. By partnering with Swedish EPiServer, makers of the world’s fastest growing web content management, online community and e-commerce platform, First Line has now become the largest EPiServer solution partner outside of Scandinavia, making Russia one of the most promising destinations for EPiServer development on the globe.
