The General Assembly of the National Association of Private ICT Companies

The General Assembly of the National Association of Private ICT Companies took place on January 26, 2011. The event brought together the members of the Association, relevant representatives of donor community (USAID, UNDP, World Bank, Soros), public authorities (Ministry of ICT, National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology) and important local IT companies.

Mrs. Dona Scola (Deputy Minister of ICT), Mr. Douglas Griffith (CEED Project Director) and Mr. Sergiu Botezatu (Senior Project Management Specialist, USAID Moldova) presented the perspectives and the achievements of the partnership with ATIC.

Ana Chirita, Executive Director of the Association, presented the Plan of action for 2011 and the Activity report for 2010 together with Olivier Prado (GPG Consulting) and Veaceslav Cunev (Chairman of the Board, Deeplace). The Annual report of activities is available on www.ict.md.

Dmitrii Parfentiev (Moldcell), Andrey Aydov (QSystems), Radu Grosu (Endava) and Andrey Rikov (Kvazar-Micro) related about the importance of being an ATIC member and the benefits of this status.

Also, during the meeting the changes in the structure and composition of the Association have been approved. The members of the Association have elected a new Board, which will consist in 2011 of: Veaceslav Cunev (Deeplace), Radu Grosu (Endava), Iuri Cicibaba (HP), Viorelia Lazar (Matrix), Dmitri Parfentiev (Moldcell), Alexandr Dashkevich (Sofline International), Olivier Prado (GPG Consulting).

An important moment during this event was the signing of the Collaboration Agreement with Orange Moldova.
