Godeltech Restructures Management Team

Godel Technologies Europe (Godeltech) has announced a management restructure as the company has experienced a 25% uplift in revenue in FY2011, increased staff from 60 to 100 and opened a new software development centre in Brest, Belarus in which it aims to employ up to 30 staff in the next six months.

New to the team is Chris Sproston who has been appointed chief operations officer. Chris will join Godeltech on July 30, 2012 after 24 years at the Co-operative Group, where his current role is head of software development and he is responsible for software development and quality assurance teams both in-house and external for all areas of the trading group including; food, healthcare, travel, funerals, commercial infrastructure and corporate.

Current managing director Terry Bland has been appointed chairman with immediate effect, whilst current sales director, Neil Turvin will step into the managing director role to help grow the business both in the UK and in its current nearshore location in Minsk, Belarus as well as opening a new facility in Brest, Belarus. Meanwhile, Robert Nugent has been promoted from finance manager to financial director.

“The changes come off the back of a strong twelve months at Godeltech with growth in revenues, staff and operations,” explains Terry Bland, chairman, Godeltech.

“We’re expanding in Belarus as customers demand more nearshore software development teams and Chris Sproston’s addition to the team brings experience in change, transition and growth which will be important at this time in our growth.
