Growing demand for IT outsourcing during times of financial crisis

Research conducted by Equaterra shows that there is a growing interest in business outsourcing services. 64% of outsourcing companies based in Europe and 25% of providers based in the American market reported a growth in demand.

According to analysts, BTO and ITO services are perceived by many companies as a solution in fighting the consequences of the crisis that is taking place in financial markets.

At the same time, 38% of the companies surveyed pointed out that the economic crisis is the most important factor that postpones the final decision to conclude a contract by a client. According to almost half of the people surveyed (42%), the condition of the global economy directly influences the nature of outsourcing services. The contracts that are concluded are long-term contracts that aim to streamline specific processes. Outsourcing is treated as a way of reducing operational costs.

In response to this situation, outsourcing service providers take up various actions aimed at simplifying its use and managing its disorderly structure. Comarch, with its long-term experience in providing IT outsourcing services of the highest quality, faces the emerging challenge.
