On July 7, IBA took part in the awards ceremony of the contest Businessman 2009 as the event’s partner.

Since 1996, the first Belarusian Business Journal Delo (Vostok+Zapad) (Business: East+West) has yearly conducted the contest Businessman of the Year. To award the most successful top executives who run their business in Belarus, the advisory committee of the journal nominates the laureates in 12 categories.

This year, the Belarusian businessmen, diplomats, foreign guests, representatives of Belarusian government, and journalists attended the event. At the ceremony, Sergei Levteev, IBA CEO, the prizewinner of the Businessman 2002 contest, handed a prize and a diploma to Dmitry Pakhomov, the 2010 winner in the category “For contribution to the development of the Belarusian financial market”.
