On September 22, IBA conducted a seminar on how a business can solve its problems quickly and efficiently using 1C: Enterprise 8-based solutions. Held in Minsk, Belarus, the seminar was devoted to the IBA solutions based on the 1C: Enterprise 8 to manage sales and procurement, fixed assets, intangible property, pricing, finance, supply chain management, and customer and human relations.

Senior executives, chief accountants, heads of operating, sales, and business automation departments representing 33 Belarusian companies attended the workshop.

In his welcoming speech, Sergei Akoulich, IBA Business Development Director, said:

The 1C platform is a widely spread software product which is unfortunately known mostly as a program for accounting automation. Our workshop is aimed at presenting 1C as a platform to create a full-featured system for enterprise management, which in difficult economic situation in Belarus and in rapidly changing business circumstances is an efficient factor of effective activity of any business. During the seminar, the IBA experts will explain what an effective system of enterprise management, a successful project and powerful maintenance are.

• Customized Software: Effective Control of Project Implementation by Valery Birin, Director of the IBA Division of Management Systems.
• Mobile Trade: Pushing Up Sales through Mobile Office by Victor Savchenko, Software Engineer of the IBA Department of Management Systems for Retail Companies
• Accounting and Retail. Integration with SuperMag System by Alexei Vasiliev, Software Engineer of the IBA Department of Management Systems for Retail Companies.

During the roundtable discussion, the participants summed up the results of the workshop.
