From May 15 to May 18, IBA participated in the conference Information Technologies in Industry (PromIT’2012) as the event’s general partner. Organized by Infopark, the Ministry of Industry of Belarus, the Belarusian State Committee for Science and Technologies, and the Belarusian Association of Industrial Enterprises, the event was held within the Belarusian Industrial Forum.

At the plenary and breakout sessions, IBA delivered the following presentations:

• Dashboard. A tool to manage enterprise performance
• Implementation of solutions that really work
• Integration of information system with electronic document interchange (EDI) system
• Mobile commerce. How to increase sales using mobile office
• Paperless technology. Unified management of warehouses of finished goods
• Using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology at warehouses of finished goods
• Effective procurement: how to create efficient management system at industrial enterprise
• Asset and service management using IBM Maximo.
• This year, almost 400 representatives of Belarusian industrial enterprises, and the Belarusian Ministries of industry, energy, and construction and architecture attended the event.

At the IBA Group booth, participants were able to learn more about engineering and IT solutions for industrial enterprises from the representatives of IBA Minsk and IBA IS.

In addition, attendees to the IBA Group booth were able to watch live webcast from PTCLive TechForum that was held on May 17 in Moscow, Russia. The program of the event also included an IBA-hosted business lunch to discuss possible problems when implementing product life cycle and data management systems at Belarusian enterprises.
