From April 20 to April 22, IBA Group participated in the 10th Startup Weekend Belarus as the event’s partner. Aimed at facilitating the implementation of innovative and high-tech business projects (startups) and attracting investments to them, the event took place in Minsk, Belarus.

This year, the program of Startup Weekend Belarus included three events:

• Startup Weekend Mobile (Hackathon) where its participants were able to create mobile applications, to form a team of developers, and to receive training from gurus of mobile development.
• Conference Day that included presentations, master cases, discussions, and success stories. IT entrepreneurs, mentors and experts, representatives of angel investors and venture funds attended the event.
• Investors’ Day that was dedicated to networking and investments. The event featured presentations of mobile applications that were developed at Startup Weekend Mobile and an exhibition of mobile startups.

At Startup Weekend Mobile (Hackathon), IBA within 24 hours developed a mobile game for active recreation Fly The Web. The application won the second place and the team of developers was awarded a license for the use of SaaS products.

The FlexKeys mobile solution won the first place. Vitali Nikulenka, IBA Deputy Director for Business Development, handed over a prize, Samsung Galaxy Tab, to the team of developers.

At Startup Weekend Mobile (Hackathon), participants presented 21 ideas and created 13 mobile applications, namely:

In addition, IBA participated in a panel discussion and a press conference, and presented its iBoss and e-University at the show of mobile startups.
