IBA Group Participates in CeBIT 2008

From March 4 to March 9, IBA Group participated in Cebit 2008 that was held in Hannover, Germany. Since 1986, Deutsche Messe AG has organized CeBIT each spring. This year, according to Ernst Raue, a member of the Board of Management at Deutsche Messe AG, “From the very beginning CeBIT has reaffirmed its claim to be the No.1 meeting place for the crme de la crme of the international ICT industry.” BITKOM President Scheer added: “CeBIT is more or less becoming the Davos of the ICT sector.” CeBIT 2008 gathered 5,845 exhibitors from 77 countries and 495,000 visitors.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and the European Commission President Barrosso opened the event. France was selected as the official Partner Country for Germany’s ICT sector at CeBIT 2008.

Visiting professionals were able to bring themselves up to date on the latest developments in IT, business, and marketing. Numerous products and services were presented by leading suppliers and services providers in 36 halls. The Cebit Convention Center featured diverse conferences and presentations.

IBA Group exhibited as a part of the Czech Republic pavilion that incorporated 6 stands. The IBA team comprised two Czech and three Belarusian members. Attracted by the positive reputation of the Czech Republic, visitors showed willingness to outsource their software development to IBA Group. Other visitors were looking for partners in the Czech Republic. IBA Group looks forward to new contracts and partnerships that result from Cebit meetings.
