IBA Group, a country sponsor at the Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit held from September 20 to September 21, 2010 in London, invites organizations to learn more about its services and about Eastern Europe as an IT outsourcing destination.
Fifty–three percent of organizations in Europe said they will outsource more in 2010, and 40 percent of organizations are planning to increase their external IT services spending, according to a recent survey from Gartner, Inc.1
IBA Group, one of the largest IT service providers in Eastern Europe, is ideally positioned to cater for the growing needs of organizations. At the Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit 2010, the company is presenting its expanded service portfolio. The new IBA Group’s services include development of corporate performance management systems using IBM Cognos Business Intelligence and IBM Cognos Planning, IBM Tivoli services and solutions, and IBM FileNet workflow solutions.
The new services are coming along with the “traditional” IT outsourcing services, such as software development, migration, maintenance, 24/7 support, and consulting for mainframe systems and applications, enterprise applications, web solutions, SAP solutions, other ERP systems, and Lotus technologies.
According to Gartner, Inc., “business intelligence, analytics, pattern recognition, and “smart” solutions are the new vocabulary of IT’s value; new IT–related initiatives that don’t fit within this framework will be increasingly less attractive to enterprises that are not interested in more “IT for IT’s sake,” but are laser–focused on “IT for the business’ sake.”2
The IBA–developed corporate performance management (CPM) systems meet this requirement. They are designed to improve and direct corporate performance from planning and budgeting to performance measuring, and to reporting and analysis. In addition, organizations are able to align their operations with strategic business goals.
At the Gartner Outsourcing & IT Services Summit 2010, IBA Group is a country pavilion sponsor and exhibitor. In cooperation with other four companies from Russia and Belarus, IBA Group is hosting the Eastern European networking reception and conducting a roundtable discussion on the strengths and weaknesses of the Eastern European region as an IT outsourcing destination.
Dr. Valentin Kazan, Vice President of IBA Group and the head of the IBA’s delegation at the summit, says: “Eastern Europe is one of the most promising alternatives to traditional IT outsourcing destinations. IT companies in Eastern Europe have accumulated extensive experience in outsourcing. They have highly qualified IT resources, a well–developed education system, and a favourable geographic location — very close to Western European clients. The organizations that outsource to Eastern Europe create high quality products in a cost–effective and timely manner. Said that, we invite outsourcing vendors and other stakeholders to visit the IBA Group’s stand to discuss their specific needs and find solutions to their problems, as well as to talk about outsourcing to Eastern Europe at the roundtable discussion entitled Eastern Europe: The High–End Outsourcing Destination.”
