In June 2009, IBA and Interregional Distributive Grid Company of Urals and Volga (IDGC of Urals) launched a project to automate financial and economic activity at IDGC of Urals using SAP ERP 6.0.

Following a tender, IBA and IDGC of Urals signed a contract on the implementation of a typical solution to automate accounting, logistics, sales, and HR management. Seven reputable SAP partners with extensive experience in SAP implementation on the Russian and global markets bid for the contract. IBA took leading positions because of its status as SAP Industry Preferred Partner coupled with unsurpassed expertise in the automation of power engineering companies.

The SAP solution is currently implemented at the executive office of IDGC of Urals and at the power supply company Sverdlovenergo. Further, it will be rolled out to other IDGC of Urals branches, namely Permenergo and Chelyabenergo. The rollout will include personnel training and go-live support.
