IBA Group Ranks as Leader in The Global Outsourcing 100

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) published The Global Outsourcing 100, the listing of the world’s top outsourcing service providers in a special advertising feature of the May 5, 2008 issue of FORTUNE® magazine. IBA Group ranks in the Leaders Category of the listing and is recognized among the Best 20 Companies by Service Offered in Document Management.

Produced annually by IAOP, The Global Outsourcing 100 is devoted to featuring the best of today’s leading outsourcing service providers and tomorrow’s rising stars. Because of rigorous competition, this year’s listing comprises 101 companies (76 Leaders and 25 Rising Stars). Participating companies demonstrated excellence in categories such as size and growth, global presence, industry recognition, certifications, customer references, employee management, executive strength, and outsourcing experience.

Outsourcing as a method of cooperating with external suppliers has initially served to cut costs and achieve performance efficiency. Presently, cost reduction is no longer the primary driver. Outsourcing companies are seeking to find talent, skills and experience that they lack. Until recently, the outsourcing industry has shown rapid growth. However, the latest studies reveal that the outsourcing market is approaching maturity. While Europe and Asia are still recording certain growth, the US market has slowed dramatically.

The IAOP survey proves that the outsourcing industry is alive and has a great potential. Christina L. Powers, IAOP Executive Director, argues: “This year’s results show that outsourcing remains stronger than ever.” Michael F. Corbett, IAOP Chairman, goes on to say: “The companies on this year’s Global Outsourcing 100 list represent the elite of our field, hailing from every corner of the globe and providing an extensive array of cutting–edge services.”

IBA Group ranks in the Leaders Category and is recognized among the Best 20 Companies by Service Offered in Document Management. The highest scoring (1 — best among all applications) the company received in employee management. This category included such areas as employee recruiting, training, retention, educational level, minority status, and community development.

The IAOP’s special advertising section in Fortune magazine highlights: “IBA Group… has made it a mission to bring the technical expertise it has developed on staff to local universities. IBA Group provides computer equipment to leading Belarusian universities, organizes summer camps for Czech students, and the company’s employees train the students in computer technologies. The company’s commitment to education starts with its workforce. All employees are encouraged to improve their technical skills at the IBA Training Center, which offers its services for free.”

Commenting on the company’s inclusion in The Global Outsourcing 100, Sergei Levteev, IBA Group President, said: “IBA Group is not a 100 percent outsourcing company. In addition to software outsourcing, IBA develops and produces proprietary software and hardware products, implements packaged solutions, and provides distribution, value–added and consulting services. Nevertheless, we are proud to be one of the Leaders of The Global Outsourcing 100. We are even more proud to be recognized for excellence in employee management and support. According to the company vision, IBA Group seeks to be a workplace of choice for the best IT professionals who care about their job with the company. As a result, our employees render the best possible services to clients who respond by growing loyalty to IBA.” He added that IBA is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and this recognition is yet another benchmark in IBA history.
