IBA has implemented its Mobile Banking System in BPS — Bank. The IBA Mobile Banking enables holders of plastic cards issued by BPS–Bank to make payments and retrieve banking information via mobile phone, smartphone or PDA at any point of the world 24 hours a day.

To make a card account mobile, a customer only needs to install a corresponding application to his/her mobile phone. The Java application is a software shell for the IBA SMS Banking System providing a convenient intuitive interface to IBA SMS Banking services.

The user is able to:

• Receive information about changes in the account balance
• Perform payments for public utilities, mobile services, as well as services of internet providers and cable TV
• Block the card in case of loss
• Receive news and updates online via GPRS channel
• Cancel SMS Banking service.
