IBA Participates in Bank IT’08

IBA acted as the general partner of the Belarusian republican conference “Interdepartmental Information Interaction: Strategy, Problems, and Solutions”. The conference was held within the project BankIT’08 on June 3, 2008 in Minsk, at the National Library of Belarus.
Participants in the conference gathered to exchange their experience and discuss problems of interdepartmental interaction. The event was also designed to foster the implementation of the Resolution #1819 by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of December 27, 2002 “On the State Program of Informatization of the Republic of Belarus for the Years 2003-2005 and up to the Year 2010. Electronic Belarus”, including the amendments and additions stipulated in the Resolution # 1396 by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of October 23, 2006.

IBA participants in the conference were:

  • Giennady Molchanov, Sales Director for the CIS, at the plenary meeting delivered a report entitled “How to Solve Problems of Interdepartmental Interaction Using Domestic Software”.
  • Mikhail Bunas, Director of the Division for the Promotion of Corporate Solutions, participated in the panel discussion “Problems and Strategies of Interdepartmental Information Interaction”, as well as in the discussion and adoption of the final document of the conference.
  • Igor Petrik, Head of the Department for Electronic Workflow, spoke about the capabilities of the IBA workflow management product Chancellor.
  • Alexander Kovalev, Head of the Department of MiddleWare Solutions, made a report entitled “Creation of Bank IT Infrastructure Using IBM WebSphere Portal Server”.

The IBA stand presented a high-level scheme of interdepartmental interaction using Chancellor, the IBA workflow management product.
