On October 21, IBA participated in the workshop on product lifecycle management at industrial enterprises as the event’s partner. The seminar was organized by the Belarusian State Committee of Science and Technologies, the State Committee for Standardization, the National Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Industry, the Republican Association of Industrial Enterprises, and the scientific and technological association Infopark.

The seminar was aimed at summarizing advanced experience, accelerating the process and increasing effectiveness of IT implementation to support product lifecycle at industrial enterprises. More than 200 representatives of Belarusian enterprises attended the event.

At the opening ceremony, Vladimir Semashko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Alexander Radevich, Minister of Industry of Belarus, and Igor Voitov, Chairman of the Belarusian State Committee for Science and Technology, welcomed the participants. Representatives of the United Institute for Problems of Information Science presented the state program of scientific and technological development “Electronic Enterprise Resource Management” for the years 2010-2014.

Sergei Akoulich, IBA Business Development Director, delivered a report on the IBA experience in automation of industrial enterprises when implementing projects for large-scale customers including IBM, Hitachi, Rockwell Automation, Goodyear, Uralkali, and Sent Gaben.

Andrei Bazylchik, Head of the IBA PDM/PLM Solutions Department, spoke on the IBA expertise in product lifecycle management at the Belarusian enterprises.
