IBA Participates in Metal Processing 2009

IBA exhibited at the international tradeshow “Metal Processing 2009” that was held from April 7 to April 10 in Minsk, Belarus. Being the most important technical forum in Belarus, the event is traditionally supported by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian machine tool building association Stankoinstrument.
Ivan Demidovich, First Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, delivered an opening address. Nikolai Panichev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stankoinstrument; Piotr Vitiaz, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; Anatoliy Pavlovich, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission for industry, fuel and energy, transport, communications, and entrepreneurship of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; and other top government officials participated in the opening ceremony.

In aggregate, more than 180 companies from Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden, and Japan exhibited at the tradeshow.

IBA showcased the PTC products Pro/ENGINEER and Windchill. IBA and PTC presented capabilities and advantages of these products as compared with similar CAD and PDM/PLM systems. Roughly 60 visitors attended the IBA stand.

The tradeshow organizers awarded IBA a diploma for active participation in Metal Processing 2009.
