IBA Presents its Products to Kazakh PM

On May 19, IBA participated in the meeting of Belarusian IT companies with Kazakh business delegation headed by Karim Maximov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. The meeting was organized by the Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Informatization within the Belarus–Kazakh economic Forum and was held in the Belarusian High–Tech Park.

At the meeting, IBA presented the following products:

  • IBA self–service banking equipment that functions nearly in all Belarusian banks and their branches and affiliates. To date, IBA has installed and is maintaining more than 600 ATMs, 1000 Information and Transaction Terminals (ITTs) and 1500 POS terminals in Belarus. Thus, IBA contributes to the state program of development of technical infrastructure to support the use of banking plastic cards in Belarus for the years 2006–2010.
  • IBA QueueMASTER, an electronic queue management system that is designed to distribute clients flow and reduce the time of waiting in a queue.
  • Chancellor, the IBA proprietary software product intended for electronic document management.

Prime Minister Maximov commented: “I believe that high technologies are well developed in Belarus today as it was in times of the USSR. We’ve seen a lot of new products related to IT services in Belarus. Our governmental bodies that are responsible for e–government development and Kazakh companies that are active in the high–tech sector would do well to learn from Belarusian companies.”

IBA boasts its long–term cooperation with Kazakh companies. IBA has already implemented several large–scale projects at Kazak Railway, Ministry of Public Revenue, and Atyrausky Oil Refinery. In 2009, export of IBA software to Kazakhstan equaled to USD 0.7 million. To be closer to its Kazakh customers, IBA Group is planning to open a representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2010.
