From October 7 to October 10, the 2nd international exhibition on transport and logistics 2008 took place in Minsk, Belarus.

This year, more than 120 companies from ten countries exhibited at the event. The exhibition featured all kinds of up-to-date transport and logistic systems and equipment, transportation services, and information and service systems for transport.

Vladimir Sosnovsky, Minister of Transport and Communications, greeted the participants.

At the event, IBA presented its cutting-edge IT solutions on business process automation intended for the transport and logistics sector:

• Resource management at a nation-wide transport corporation based on the SAP ERP implemented at the Belarusian Railway
• Automated self-service ticketing systems
• Cargo transportation management system at the Belarusian Railway
• System to support management decisions at transport and logistic companies
• Chancellor electronic workflow system

At the Belarusian Transport Congress that was held within the exhibition, IBA conducted seminars on the following topics:

• IBA solutions based on 1C: Enterprise to manage the operation of a railway or automobile company
• Chancellor workflow management system
• Corporate information security. Integrated approach in theory and practice.

At the IBA booth, Sergei Levteev, IBA CEO, made a brief presentation of the IBA products and solutions.

In addition, IBA experts provided consultations on the implementation of the IBA solutions at specific enterprises and other related issues.

IBA was awarded a Diploma for active participation in the event and for distinguished design of the IBA stand.
