On June 15, IBA received a letter of National Information Systems JSC, Kazakhstan. According to the letter, IBA achieved the highest scoring in the tender for a solution to modify the electronic workflow system (EWS) of the state governing bodies of Kazakhstan.
Earlier this spring, IBA and other well-known EWS developers bid for the creation of a prototype of an alternative solution to modify the Kazakh EWS. Load and functional testing of the systems presented by the bidding companies were conducted. Afterwards, Kazakh developers were on a reference visit to Minsk to familiarize themselves with the Belarus’ Interdepartmental Electronic Workflow System developed by IBA based on its proprietary product Chancellor. Following the visit, IBA was selected as the executor of the pilot project for the creation of a Kazakh EWS.
Igor Petrik, Head of the Electronic Workflow Department at IBA, commented: “Huge, complicated, and promising work is in the offing. I am confident that this project will take us to a brand new level. Since 2008, we have been working on a very important project to develop an EWS for the Belarusian state governing bodies and now we can speak about the implementation of electronic society programs in the international arena. This implies serious obligations in terms of system’s security and reliability and we will spare no effort to execute the tasks lying ahead of us.”
