It is our pleasure to announce the IDC ERP Forum 2011, the fifth meeting of supply and demand on the business software market in the Adriatics region, which will take place in April 28, 2011, in The Hotel Antunovic in Zagreb. At the Forum we will present trends and data concerning the regional IT and ERP markets in 2010 with a focus on influences of global crisis on local ERP market. If there is sufficient interest, we will organize a roundtable discussion on main trends and key challenges.

As an independent third party positioned between supply and demand, IDC Adriatics organizes this forum to cover the ERP area in an objective, transparent, and efficient way.

This forum is best suited for SMB segment: CEO, CFOs, CIOs, CRM Managers, eCommerce/eBusiness Managers, IT Managers, Finance Managers, Purchasing Managers, Business Development Directors, and HR Managers.

According to IDC, an Enterprise Application Suite (ERP) must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Minimum Functionality:

The suite contains the following four core functions:

  • Financial Applications
  • Inventory Management
  • Procurement
  • Order Management

2. Integration:

As EAS is built with an integrated set of business rules and metadata, it offers customers the ability to access a single database (logical or physical) from a single, consistent user interface.

3. Installation Size and License and Maintenance Revenue: Having in mind local and regional market conditions, IDC has established filters based on the number of users/installation and on annual license and maintenance revenues.

4. Software Sophistications:

Software must be developed on multi-user platforms, i.e., server and host and client/server environments.
