Infovide-Matrix SA, a leader in the market of consulting services and IT solutions, will take up 20% of stake in Utilis IT Sp. z o.o. for the total value of PLN 2 million. Utilis IT was created to provide IT services for the utilities, especially power and gas sector.

Under the agreement signed on March 16, 2010, Infovide-Matrix SA will hold 250 shares of Utilis IT sp. z o.o. for the amount of PLN 2 million. The stake comprises 20% of Utilis’ stock capital.

Utilis IT offers consulting and integrating services which comprise the building of informatization strategy, implementation and post-implementation consulting. Apart from using verified and recognized by the market IT solutions the company creates dedicated software as well. Utilis IT focuses on developing solutions for the public utility sector.

“This transaction is yet another step in the realization of our strategy to consolidate the market of IT services in Poland through acquisition of companies specializing in IT consulting. Doing so we increase our potential in key segments of the market. Investing in Utilis IT will enable us to broaden the scope of our operations in the most dynamically growing power sector. We have signed an agreement to take in 20% of stakes in Utilis IT. The purchasing of remaining 80% is planned for the years 2011 – 2015 and their price is dependant on the company’s financial results” – says Marek Kobialka, President of the Board, Infovide-Matrix SA.
