INSPET S.A., the Romanian company specialized in construction engineering projects in the oil and gas industry, started the implementation of the project management system Primavera of which the sole representative in Romania is TotalSoft, member of Global Finance Group.

TotalSoft will integrate Primavera with the application Charisma Portfolio Management that manages offers, contracts and tracks the status of projects. This application was developed in order to provide automatic integration of data used in the administration of contracts with the data used in project management.

With the implementation of this software, INSPET extends the usage of project management within the company, process that leads to the aligning of organizational culture to management by objectives. The company targets, on operational level, a real time measurement of internal and external projects parameters, as well as a reduction of costs and risks at company level.
 
This contract represents the beginning of collaboration between the two companies, the next step being the implementation of the ERP system that is already validated by the construction industry. Charisma ERP, with implementations in the largest constructions companies in Romania, meets the internal needs of INSPET and is considered the optimum solution for the support of company’s medium term development.

„We aim to implement several software solutions provided by TotalSoft by the end of 2010, solutions that we will both develop and agree upon. We will thus create the premises for 2011, a year dedicated to the alignment of the management system to international standards specific to our industry” says Mr. Petre Mustatea, General Manager of INSPET SA.

At this moment, INSPET runs constructions & engineering projects that aim primarily the oil and natural gas infrastructure industry, the complexity of these projects implying participants from several horizontal industries: industrial engineering, automations, rebars, constructions, etc. The final objective of Primavera and Charisma Portfolio Management implementation is to manage the entire company portfolio using these applications that will lead to the fluidization of the collaboration with business partners concerning common projects.
