Intercomp Global Services reconfirmed its leading position on the Russian outsourcing market

Rating Agency Expert has published the results of its annual rating of the largest companies specializing in business process outsourcing (Finance & Accounting and HR). For the second consecutive year, Intercomp Global Services has been ranked first in this sphere on the Russian market.

The survey conducted by RA Expert involved companies specializing in Finance & Accounting and HR outsourcing, including payroll, accounting, HR administration services, as well as reports preparation and submission. This year, 75 companies were analyzed during the survey. The key ranking criteria was the total revenue received from outsourcing services provision in FY 2010.

The consolidated revenue of all companies surveyed constituted 3.8 billion rubles in 2010, as opposed to 3.2 billion rubles in 2009. The key market feature identified was high business concentration: Intercomp Global Services contributed to 21% of the total revenue; the consolidated revenue of top six companies of the rating, including Intercomp Global Services, amounted to 50%. The top six companies in the Expert RA rating for 2010 are: 1) Intercomp Global Services (revenue – 802 317K rubles); 2) BDO (384 778K rubles); 3) ANCOR (291 018K rubles); 4) 2К Audit – Business consultations (229 301K rubles); 5) Unistaff Payroll Solutions (122 072K rubles); 6) UCMS (199 484K rubles).

Intercomp Global Services was the first international company to introduce Finance & Accounting and HR outsourcing as a business model in Russia in 1994. Ever since, Intercomp Global Services has kept its leading position on the market, and for the past two consecutive years, it has headed the list of largest outsourcing providers operating in Russia. It is noteworthy that Intercomp Global Services was also ranked first in the key BPO segments – Accounting, Payroll, HR administration and accounting reports preparation.

“The Russian BPO market is still emerging, with its routes going back to the mid 1990s,” comments Sergey Buchin, General Director Intercomp Global Services, Russia and CIS. “This business segment is developing randomly: outsourcing providers deliver services to their clients, adopt best practices of foreign BPO companies, but they don’t see the whole picture of the market, do repeat other companies’ mistakes and don’t use common standards. Development of the local BPO market is hardly possible without conducting regular independent surveys and establishing professional associations. We are glad that Expert RA specialists have made it a regular practice to publish a rating of outsourcing providers. Undoubtedly, the results of this rating will increase confidence in BPO as a business model among Russian companies and will help them choose a reliable service provider,” Sergey Buchin adds.
