Intetics Co. and Adorama Camera Inc. Win Two Standard of Excellence Web Awards

Intetics Co., a global software development and outsourcing company, and Adorama Camera, Inc., one of the largest photo retail and mail order suppliers in the US, have received recognition from the Web Marketing Association by winning two Standard of Excellence awards in the twelfth annual WebAward Competition for website development. The AdoramaPix website (www.adoramapix.com) developed by Intetics was awarded in the Photography and Professional Services categories, being judged against an industry standard and peer sites within their branch of business.

More than 2,400 sites from 45 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year’s competition, judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of website development. Entries were evaluated according to seven key criteria: design, copywriting, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.

“We are honored that our work has been recognized by Web Marketing Association” says Boris Kontsevoi, President of Intetics. “Collaborating with AdoramaPix we transformed the client’s vision into a very pleasing, user friendly, and functional website.”

AdoramaPix is a leader in the digital photo processing business, providing its services for over 300,000 customers. It started out as the 1 hour photo lab for Adorama Camera over 10 years ago and quickly became the go-to lab for film processing in New York. Since 2004 their website has been offering easy ways for the professional and casual photographer alike to upload, organize, and order the best quality digital photo prints at the best prices.

“Our goal is to serve a vast photography community by offering the easiest print ordering process available online, coupled with superior quality prints and customer service,” said Herman Klein, Director of AdoramaPix. “This WebAward nomination along with customer recognition is a definite proof of our success.”
