Invest in the future

On June 2 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine hosted the International Conference “Triple Play, IP-TV and network access – the new road to the subscriber”. The conference, organized by the Editorial Board of Network & Business, was attended by Miratech.

The event brought together representatives from IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper Networks and Alcatel-Lucent, as well as leading providers of cable television, Internet service providers, operators of fixed and mobile communication from different countries: Russia, Germany, the United States and Ukraine.

The main issues raised at the conference were the technical and substantive aspects of overcoming the consequences of global economic crisis due to the development of digital broadcasting, interactive forms of communication with the audience through the Internet and mobile devices. In the context of urgent need for a revitalized investment in the future through enhanced mutual understanding and trust between vendor and customer at the conference were considered technical issues to ensure efficiency of new business models, although these were not yet in focus of it.

Presenting new issue of the magazine Network & Business, release of which was timed to the beginning of the conference, the chief editor Vladimir Sklyar drew attention to the article about Miratech, which describes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the integration of Avaya Call Center in the Insurance Service 611.

Highlight of the event was a discussion of possible ways out of the crisis, which underscored the need to take into account the cost of innovation and coordination of joint action by all parties to a business process, aimed at preserving and expanding their businesses in the current economic conditions.

As the outcome of the conference shows, the introduction of new technologies, which now allow to significantly expand the efficiency of the banking and insurance sector, and in the future will surely help operators of mobile communication pave the ‘new roads to the client’, initiative and ability to think in new ways – these are the components that determine the success of business today.
