IT Companies from Sweden & Norway meet Romanian IT Delegation

The Norwegian and Swedish IT Representatives are ready to enhance technical exchange and cooperation with Romanian software service providers. ARIES – the Romanian Association for Software and Electronics Industry and the IT Associations from both countries work together to push forward the comprehensive and friendly cooperation between the interested parties. As a result, a Romanian delegation of software service providers has met  their industry counterparts, in Oslo and Stockholm, between the 22nd and 26th of November, 2010.

Members of the Romanian delegation included Ambo Software, Codespring, Directvision, Ecotic Association, Pentalog Romania, Romsoft and Softcontrol. The Romanian delegation was received by Ericsson, Telenor, Unified Messaging Systems, Jakobsen Elektro, Get. In addition to the personal appointments with the local companies, Romania’s ambassador from Oslo, Mr. Cristian Istrate hosted a courtesy meeting and a conference entitled “Information society in a new millennium”, having as main audience the Romanian delegation, headed by Mr. Alexandru Borcea, President of ARIES. High ranking Norway diplomats have also participated at the Romanian Embassy’s event, including representatives of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Chamber of Commerce from Oslo.

The attendees made positive remarks on the private business meeting opportunity and expressed requests for possible cooperation in software development. Other topic related issues of common interest have been addressed as well.

Eventually, this will have been just one step ahead in widening the doors of cooperation between the three countries.
