Itransition Is a Finalist in the European IT Excellence Awards

Itransition Software was judged a finalist in the E-business category of the European IT Excellence Awards 2007. These are the only pan-European awards that recognize best practices in solutions and services in the European IT channels and encourage partnerships and synergy in the IT sphere.

The European IT Excellence Awards are organized by IT Europa, the leading provider of business intelligence and analysis on the European IT marketplace. The main criteria for choosing finalists were customer dedication, impact on the customer’s business, clear communications, understanding and good response to customer issues, competitive client offerings, and successful implementation.

IT Excellence Awards cover a number of categories. The E-business award category highlights how businesses have significantly improved their operational abilities by the use of technology.

Itransition became a finalist in the Solution Providers (VARs) section of  the E-business category with the software development project for one of the leading providers of converged collaboration and communication services. The project was aimed at development and implementation of custom enterprise-level web-based solutions (a Content Management Solution and an Extranet Builder).

The solutions were tightly integrated with the client’s business processes and ensured seamless information flows within the company. Based on the Micosoft.Net platform, integrated with SalesForce and a custom CRM, the solutions help manage web content and enable high level sales support (help promote customer’s services, organize online demos and trainings, publish financial information, distribute booklets and manuals, and announce new services and product features, and many others).

“We have demonstrated our best practices by the example of this e-business project. But that’s the general customer-centric and business-oriented approach to IT projects which provides successful cooperation in all business areas,” noted Sergey Gvardeitsev, CEO of Itransition Software.
