The LOGURAN Company uses with its customer the KOSTAL Company the TradeSync Integration Manager EDI solution by the AIMTEC Company from Pilsen

LOGURAN, a logistics provider from Pilsen that pursues the latest trends in the logistics services has improved its EDI communication with its important customer – the KOSTAL CZ Company. LOGURAN has chosen the robust Axway TradeSync Integration Manager solution to increase the safety and reliability of its automated electronic data interchange. The solution, which is delivered and implemented by Aimtec with its seat in Pilsen, increases the quality of electronic data interchange by including material receipt to production, dispatch of finished goods and warehouse stock levels in VDA format. It increases the speed, reliability, traceability and provides full automation of business communication between the supplier and the customer. Both companies get an immediate overview of the processing status of each and every received and sent message.

The LOGURAN Company has been operating in the Czech logistics market since 2003. It has become a significant provider of a wide range of logistics services and gained a number of customers primarily from the automotive and electrical industries. The new logistics centre of the company with its headquarters in Pilsen provides the customers with storage areas, transportation, re-packing and goods assembly services. The KOSTAL CR Company, which manufactures electronic components for the automotive industry, is one of the biggest LOGURAN’s customers. Among other services, LOGURAN provides material receipt to production and finished goods dispatch to end customers for the two branches of KOSTAL located in Cenkov and Zdice.

The LOGURAN Company communicates with its key customer via EDI. The business communication includes the exchange of messages in VDA4913 format (material issue to production and finished goods receipt to warehouse). In the past, the LOGURAN Company was taking advantage of a third party services in this respect. It decided, however, to change over to an in-house effective and more transparent solution to satisfy the demanding requirements of the KOSTAL Company. LOGURAN has chosen the EDI and EAI solution – the TradeSync Integration Manager. KOSTAL and other key suppliers to the automotive industry in Western and Central Europe make use of the same solution. The Aimtec Company with its seat in Pilsen, which has an experience of ten years with electronic communication, fulfilled the requirements of LOGURAN and implemented the EDI solution onto the company’s virtual server on the Linux Red Hat ES 5.0 platform (with OFTP connection via high-quality network router).

The new EDI solution by Aimtec provides the LOGURAN Company with a strategic tool to control the processing of incoming and outbound messages from the COSTAL Company. The solution is also suitable for future customers that may require from LOGURAN direct communication via EDI. The TradeSync Integration Manager EDI solution by Aimtec shows its strength also in its capability to be deployed on various platforms (WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, SOLARIS). In addition, it may be enhanced by various communication types and protocols. It supports all existing EDI standards and may be integrated with the majority of existing ERP systems.
