Aimtec is to deliver a SAP ERP information system to LUKOV Plast, manufacturer of plastic and electronic parts.

Plastic parts manufacturer LUKOV Plast spol. s r.o. will use a SAP ERP information system to support its activities. The pre-set solution SappyCar on a SAP All-in-One bases will be delivered and implemented by Aimtec, a leading provider of solutions and information systems to production companies. The new information system will bring optimisation of company processes with the aim to flexibly react to changing requests of customers from the challenging automotive industry environment.

LUKOV Plast spol. s r.o. is a purely Czech company, who during its existence built a reputation of a high quality manufacturer of plastic and electronics components for customers primarily from the automotive industry. LUKOV Plast focusses on production with a higher added value, higher share of assembly and invests into new technologies and innovation projects. LUKOV Plast headquarters and production is based in Cesky Dub, where the company just this year completed the construction of a new production and warehouse hall, as well as a newly equipped development laboratory. Among its key customers are Skoda Auto, Magna, Denso, Gumotex, Johnson Controls, PAL Intier and others.

Pre-set solution SappyCar

The deployment of a new information system in LUKOV Plast represents a typical implementation for an automotive industry supplier. A Pilsen based company Aimtec with their pre-set solution SappyCar will cover all necessary and key processes at LUKOV Plast. SappyCar is a solution tried and tested by many customers, based on the most common system in the world SAP ERP. This system is also widespread among customers in automotive. Part of a complex deliver is the purchase and production planning, advanced warehouse management utilising bar codes, support of dispatch to OEM, including the processing of call-offs and EDI communication.

Non-time consuming project supported by grants

Start of the SAP ERP implementation is planned to commence in March of this year. Expected duration of the implementation is set for a maximum of six months. The proven Aimtec methodology can shorten the course of the entire project and therefore in the least encumber LUKOV Plast resources.

For this project, funds were drawn from the ICT in enterprises within an OPPI Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation of the Ministry of Trade and Industry CR. The programme enables companies to obtain funds for extension or implementation of information and communication technologies (hardware, software) in small and medium sized companies.
