Luxoft Recognized as a Leading Central and Eastern European Service Provider and a Prominent Player in Engineering Services and Application Development Space

Luxoft, a leading global provider of advanced application and product development services, has been included among the top outsourcing vendors in the 2010 Global Services 100 list. This year Luxoft was included in two new categories, Top Engineering Services Vendors and Top Emerging ADM Vendors, as well as maintained prominence in last year’s categories, Leaders: Central and Eastern Europe and Top Outsourced Product Development Vendors.

The 2010 GS100 list, conducted by Global Services in association with NeoAdvisory, the globalization and sourcing advisory firm, reflects the diversity and expertise of the service provider community. It represents companies that serve mature global customers through advanced global delivery models, have a niche leadership and have demonstrated business excellence. The participants are scored on four primary pillars: management excellence, customer maturity, global delivery maturity and breadth of services portfolio. The GS100 list has become a reliable source for the ITO and BPO buyer community.

“2009 was a tough year for the outsourcing industry. Service providers in the GS100 list are typified by their resilience to weather the economic downturn, the ability to retain market leadership, and the flexibility to play by the changed rules of the industry,” said Ed Nair, editor of Global Services.

“There is a recognition in large companies that outsourcing as a means to reduce costs has had its time; these companies are increasingly looking at service providers being able to make their operations more effective globally and even to transform key areas of their business. The GS100 companies are the ones who are delivering on these fronts and are equipped to demonstrate new forms of value in outsourcing to their clients,” commented Atul Vashistha, Chairman, NeoAdvisory.

“Being included in this list of top tier outsourcing vendors is not only recognition of Luxoft’s determination to provide the most innovative products and services to our clients, but also of our ability to provide more robust services and help our clients realize the full potential of our engagement,” said Dmitry Loschinin, CEO of Luxoft. “As a geographic leader for the second year in a row, and as a key player in the engineering services and application development areas, we are confident in our abilities to stay ahead of the curve and further our growth and advancement in the industry. We will continue to strive for excellence for many years to come.”

Recently, Luxoft opened a new development center in the United Kingdom, expanding its global reach and enabling faster and more efficient product development to new and existing customers in the area. In addition, Luxoft’s CEO was inducted into the Outsourcing Hall of Fame and received the 2010 Russian Business Leader of the Year award.
