On October 12, 2010, Polycom and UTTC hosted International conference “Modern use of unified communications and Polycom collaboration tools”. Alexey Perekatov, Miratech VP, Corporate Marketing, attended the conference.

At the conference, Polycom introduced new video conferencing devices, and announced the renovation of the existing product line in the UC segment. The company’s officials, as well as of organizations those operate videoconferencing systems made presentations. The afternoon shared review of the technical advances in the field of voice and video, and integration capabilities of these solutions with Microsoft UC.

The conference aroused great interest among the heads of IT departments of both government agencies and enterprises: Ukrainian experts, suppliers of ITO services and systems integrators from the CIS and from abroad attended the event. Having gathered almost all key players in the video conferencing arena, the event was an important step to advance further Polycom partnership models. A lively interest the attendees took in the summit stems from the relevance of such offerings, also focal at CCS where Miratech received two laureate diplomas in IT outsourcing.
