“Business IT Optimization Summit 2010” concluded in Kiev at the hotel “Rus”. Miratech, a leading Ukrainian IT outsourcing provider, has joined the summit as Event Partner and Panel Moderator.
The conference brought together the CIOs, senior management, operational and executive officials, project managers. The location was selected by purpose, since Meeting Point, specialized in hosting international conferences, congresses and summits, regularly carries out similar activities with this year being no exception. Miratech has successfully collaborated with Meeting Point before: earlier this year Miratech attended “Business Outsourcing Summit 2010” as Event Partner, whereas this one – as Speaker Partner. “Business Outsourcing Summit 2010” voted keynote by Alexey Perekatov, Miratech VP, Corporate Marketing, the best in the IT Outsourcing section with79 per cent of submissions.
Alexey Perekatov recurrently led the summit, setting its pace with a keynote presentation “Optimal IT solutions for doing business in the new economic conditions. Market Overview”. In his speech, Mr. Perekatov noted the potential of IT Outsourcing in different industries; he highlighted importance of outsourcing in new economic realities, and recapped the experience and the ways of alternative sourcing models such as business process utility in the context of global economic trends. The report has gotten great feedback from the summit attendees. Characteristically, their interest was drawn most to the industry-specific solutions either already on the market or underway. Thus, Head Technology introduced Blue Coat gateways for large corporations and SMB segment aimed to make clients’ businesses secure. Canon showed unified printer drivers are becoming a commodity to the point where business process management methods and techniques are a snap in terms of ROI. 1C Ukraine submitted experience reporting on its innovative solutions and licensing models for the part of the platform.
The focus the conference had was honed by how well market players fit in to the new economic conditions, and how these constitute the current market trends. Indeed, the vector of demand has changed over the past few months dramatically. Nevertheless, if there is no demand for a certain product accepted before, it does not necessarily mean a complete tie-up of the market. In situations like this, the ability of Miratech – and other leading solution makers – to find out those threads that bind together the latest technology, business needs and the needs of the customer, becomes the key to success, and the task of the company, meant to meet the needs of the industry quickly and efficiently – the main one. Miratech handles this task with ease.
