On October 14-16, 2010, Miratech, one of the acknowledged leaders of Ukrainian ITO market, has attended the conference “SOFTPROMotion 2010”, hosted by Softprom. The format of the event, held for the eighth time, has changed: not only the vendors and partners, but also customers attended this year’s forum, which brought together some 200 participants. Among them – representatives of leading Ukrainian financial institutions and telecommunications companies.

The forum was focal about high-growth areas in the field of systems integration, IT outsourcing, software development and virtualization solutions for small, medium and large businesses. Of these, in 2010, sales of security solutions accounted for 35 percent, CAD for 22 percent, and virtualization for 16 percent of Softprom’s three-quarter revenue. During the conference, Miratech’s officials have been instrumental in paving the way for further development of cooperation with customers in the field of banking and telecommunications. As shows the research on Informatization of these segments, conducted by Miratech’s analysts, solutions based on Citrix, VMware, and Veeam products make for better transparency of managerial processes, furthermore, they help reduce total cost of ownership of IT infrastructure.

“SOFTPROMotion 2010” showed off a growing motivation of market players to such patterns of interaction that Miratech is already successfully offering to banks and telecommunications companies in the ITO servicing market. Moreover, one can consider as promising the extension of Miratech’s portfolio through VDI based solutions. Thus, the main result of the conference is the understanding that there is demand for new products out there, which Miratech is able to satisfy in full.
