misoft systems offered a prize to the winning team of Hard & Soft Competition, the International Computers Contest for Students that was scheduled during the 18th-24th of May in Suceava. The event is organized each year by The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Stefan cel Mare University and reached its’ XVIth edition this year.

misoft systems, an IT development and consultancy company, offered a prize of 4x external HDD to the team that won the competition. misoft is a dynamic software company that wants to be active in the community. A competition and education event addressing computer students is linked with the values of a company that believes that we can face the fast changes in the IT filed only through constant innovation and access to the latest technology.

The competition task was focused on topical areas of engineering that require a close collaboration between ICT hardware and software designers and enables teams to demonstrate a broad spectrum of skills from hardware construction to high level programming. The project task was announced by the president of the jury, Professor Timothy Hall from Limerick University in Irland. This year, the 13 teams that joined the competition came from Romania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, Russia and Serbia. The top three teams in this years’ contest were from Timisoara, Suceava and Novi Sad.
