The Gyuros Tibor award

After the sudden death of Tibor Gyuros, in 1997 the board of IVSZ decided to create this award as a tribute to the late chairman of IVSZ and the excellent IT Director.

The IT Director of the year award and The Young IT Entrepreneur of the year award were first tendered by IVSZ on 1997 with the aim to establish a tradition and to recognize the work of the two best IT managers every year. By now these tenders have a great tradition: the award is given to heads of IT companies who contributed to the success of their company and the development of the Hungarian IT area. In the last decade IVSZ has given many awards (including surcharges) to people who have had a huge influence on not only the Hungarian, but the regional IKT industry as well.
