Ness Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NSTC, TASE: NSTC), a global provider of comprehensive information technology solutions and services, announces that effective as of October 1, 2009 a change in the management of NESS Slovakia takes place.

The new Managing Director of NESS Slovakia, Inc. will be the present Chairman of the Board of Directors and Sales Director, Martin Kohut. Martin Kohut is at the same time becoming the Country Manager and a member of the European Management of Ness Technologies.
 
The present Director and Country Manager, Vaclav Klein, will remain with the company in the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. As a member of the European management, he will at the same time be in charge of new projects development and international integration at the European level. 

Martin Kohut has been active in the IT field for over 15 years, of which 10 years he has been participating in developing and expanding Ness in Slovakia. “During our mutual cooperation, Martin has persuaded us not only of his ability to build a strong sales team, but thanks to his expertise he helped develop several crucial projects. I personally believe that Martin has excellent predispositions to follow the strategic line already set and become a successful director. I wish him the best of luck,” says Ivan Hruska, President, Ness Technologies Europe.

Martin Kohut wants to continue in strengthening the current position of Ness in Slovakia: “The key segments of our business include the Public Administration, Government and Local Government – that is eGovernment as such. We have experience and know-how in these spheres. We have realized several successful projects, not only in Slovakia but also abroad. The other crucial segments we are planning to attend to intensively are Power Industry, Utilities and also the Financial and Telecommunications Services.”

Martin Kohut (38), Chairman of the Board of Directos of NESS Slovakia, Inc., is a graduate of the Technical University in Kosice, dept. of Computer Technology and Informatics. Also his professional beginnings are closely linked to Kosice. After graduation he remained devoted to the specialization he studied and pursued IT as a technician. Later he began to incline more to business and with an associate started their own IT company – Axon Pro, to which also his managerial beginnings are linked.

After several years of enterprising, he accepted the offer from a Bratislava-based company Delta E.S., where he held the post of Sales Director since 2000 and he stood by the acquisition of the company by Ness Technologies. He remained in the same position also after the entry of Ness to Slovakia and since 2008 he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors. As of 01.10.2009 he becomes the Managing Director of NESS Slovakia Inc., and at the same time the Country Manager. 

Martin Kohut is a member of the Presidium of IT Association Slovakia and a member of the Board of Directors of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia. Successful former professional dancer is still an active sportsman, enjoys playing football and tennis. He is married and has one child.
