OPI Establishes BPO Service Center in Bulgaria

Outsource Partners International (OPI), a provider of finance and accounting outsourcing (FAO) services, has expanded its European operations with the establishment of its second BPO service center in Black Sea port city of Varna, Bulgaria. The center will cater to the ocean transportation industry. Further, the location of the center will assist OPI in recruiting professionals with expertise in the maritime and shipping industries along with providing cross-training to existing employees.

In 2006, OPI established its first center in Sofia, Bulgaria, to provide European near-shore services. It currently employs 100 professionals offering finance and accounting services in the center.

Established in 2002, OPI is a US-based finance, accounting, and tax BPO as well as related services provider. It employs 2,600 professionals across the US, Bulgaria, India, Malaysia, and the UK. The company was established as a result of the merger of KPMG’s BPO division and itAccounts (an innovative F&A BPO services provider).
