Outsourcing giant on the hunt for new partners

First-time exhibitor IBA Group is on the hunt for concrete partnerships with local and international groups at GITEX Technology Week this year.

Dr Valentin Kazan, Vice President of IBA Group and head of the IBA Group mission at GITEX, says: “We expect that the GITEX Technology Week will provide excellent opportunities for networking with top executives and IT managers. We are excited at the opportunity to exhibit at this high-profile event and feel that our presence can lead to the development of a new growth strategy at IBA Group.”

In its first appearance at the event, the IBA Group will focusing on showcasing its range of IT outsourcing services with special focus on mainframe software, enterprise applications and web solutions, SAP solutions, other ERP systems, Lotus technologies, and the rapidly growing field of business intelligence.

While it is new to the Middle East region, IBA Group is far from inexperienced. The company’s history in global IT outsourcing spans more than 16 years, when it first began with fewer than a  dozen employees. Kazan states that today, IBA has evolved into an international group with a workforce of more than 2,300 people.

Headquartered in Prague in the Czech Republic, IBA’s affliate offices are located in Germany, the United States, Cyprus, Russia, and Bulgaria. The vendor’s development centres are primarily based in Belarus and the Czech Republic. The growing portfolio means that IBA Group can now claim to be one of the largest IT service providers in Eastern Europe – and the firm looks for similar success in the GCC region.
