PAC Teams Up with TechMarketView in the UK

Building on a 17+year relationship, PAC is pleased to renew its partnership with Richard Holway through his new company, TechMarketView, which provides news and views on the UK technology sector.

London – February 26, 2009 – Pierre Audoin Consultants (PAC) announced today that it would jointly work on its UK Software and IT Services market figures with TechMarketView LLP, a new venture created by leading UK IT analysts, Richard Holway and Anthony Miller.

“The joint initiative underpins both companies’ solid consulting and analysis capabilities. TechMarketView’s website provides PAC a great opportunity to communicate market figures rapidly and effectively to the UK market,” said Jean-Christophe Bodhuin, Managing Director of PAC’s UK operations. “Both Richard Holway and Anthony Miller are two of the most respected and thought-provoking analysts on the UK IT scene and we are excited to build on the success of our previous partnership.”

PAC’s relationship with Richard Holway dates back to 1992, when Richard Holway Ltd partnered with PAC to produce the UK portion of the European SITSI® report. This partnership lasted for nearly ten years until Richard Holway Limited was acquired by Ovum in late 2000.

“We are delighted to work with PAC who has a 30+ year history of providing market research and strategic advice to vendors and users,” commented TechMarketView chairman, Richard Holway. “By working with PAC and their strong domain expertise, we can provide a holistic view of the UK market by combining their market sizing and forecasts with our own local flavour so our readers – suppliers, investors and advisors – can keep a pulse on where the industry came from, where it is now, and where it’s going in the future.”

Anthony Miller, TechMarketView Managing Partner added, “It’s great to be working with PAC again; the combination of our research with PAC’s really does cover all the bases in the software and IT services markets in the UK and Continental Europe.”
