Perfectial, a custom software development company, continues its commitment to corporate social responsibility and development of high-quality IT education in Ukraine by joining the efforts with Lviv IT companies and contributing to the opening of second IoT Lab at Lviv Polytechnic University.
The official opening ceremony for the second IoT Lab was held on June 25 at Polytechnic University. This project was initiated by Lviv IT Cluster and subsequently supported by local IT companies, Perfectial included. Together they were able to build a modern classroom and equip it with the latest devices, among which: 3D printer, the laser engraver, and robotic machines.
The future of IoT is a trending topic at the moment and the one Perfectial has been taking great interest in. The recent statistics suggest that there are 26.66 billion IoT connected devices around the globe. Being a company that helps its clients realize the immense potential of the technology by offering IoT development services, Perfectial jumped at the opportunity to support this initiative. With the new laboratory, polytechnic students will be able to design and construct IoT devices on-premises.
To support this initiative was a clear choice for Perfectial. The company has a long-proven track record of committing to educational programs in Ukraine. Perfectial has already contributed to the opening of the first IoT Lab in 2018 and has been granting scholarships for CS@UCU program for several years now.
“We are honored to be a part of this very important initiative and a milestone for the local education. We believe that supporting education is not a part of our CSR as a conscious employer but our duty as citizens of Lviv and Ukraine, especially when it comes to our professional field — IT,” says Andriy Skoropad, Perfectial’s co-founder and CEO.
