Tamas Erni, Loxon’s partner had a speaking slot about the challenges of IFRS implementation for the Romanian banking sector from both business and IT perspective on the PRMIA event hosted by KPMG in Bucharest on 12th -13th November, 2010.

The presentation summarized the challenges of the ongoing IFRS 7 implementation in Romania as well as the future challenges of the IFRS 9 to be implemented soon on an internation level and its differences to the current regime. The part of the event focused on the following areas: Basel II Models Validation, Efficient monitoring and maintenance of retail credit risk model portfolio, Challenges of Credit Stress Testing in new world order, etc.
